"One of the south coast's leading acoustic troubadours, Greg Harper expands on his impressive
canon of songs with the release of "Songs of Remembrance", a beautifully-presented 4-track "CD EP"
of material dedicated to the brave men and women who have devoted and given their lives in the
service of their country.
The songs all boast Greg's characteristically thought-provoking lyrics, and the CD is also
particularly impressive in production terms, with a rich, warm sound prevailing throughout,
and the addition of sparse backing and subtle vocal harmonies to a couple of the tracks adds
to the overall quality.
If you're a fan of Greg's, or just enjoy thought-provoking singer-songwriter-driven acoustic music,
this release is a must buy!"
Chris Davis, Willows Folk Club, Arundel
"Wonderful! Marvellous! Spiritual and very emotional! One perfect concert.
Everything on the outside was forgotten as the audience listened to your
songs.
I cannot think of a concert that has made me think so deeply in a long
time and left me feeling so elated".
Harvey Forsythe, Shared Lives.
"Your support spot was a definite highlight of the evening for us all and we hope to hear you
play live again sometime soon."

"We had Greg Harper and his friends 'The Skroats' at The White Horse Folk Club recently. We all loved them,
a nice mix of old rock 'n' roll for oldies like me, and some of Greg's great songs."
Chris Liddiard, White Horse Folk, Bodle Street Green, East Sussex.
"From the very first time he played a floorspot down here, Greg has been loved and respected by everyone
at the Willows for his great music, and for his likeable, friendly and easy-going personality. Greg has a
great gift for encapsulating stories and sentiments and crafting them into instantly 'hummable' songs,
and showcases them in a way that is warm, charming and instantly Greg Harper!"
The Famous Willows Folk Club, Arundel, West Sussex.
"Greg Harper... an accomplished musician, singer/songwriter that I have had the pleasure of listening to many times.
His own individual style, comfortably accommodates his interpretive delivery from the rawness of 50's Rock 'n' Roll
through to the delightfully composed sentimental ballads that he writes himself. Rest assured, whatever Greg
chooses to do, he does it with passion, enthusiasm and most of all... heart and soul!"
Washington Music Club
"We were very proud to host the debut performance of Greg Harper and The Skroats. They are a super bunch of Guys.
We already knew and respected Greg as a solo singer songwriter. So without any hesitation, we invited him to perform
their first gig with his newly formed group. We were not let down. Their performance was most professional.
The majority of their songs were superbly written by Greg.
Both their vocal and instrumental harmonies, complimented Greg and his songs. Everyone enjoyed
the evening and left wanting to hear more.............which we will at some future date."
The Woodies Sunday Folk Evening, Clapham, West Sussex.
"I have listened and listened to "Mary Lou" and have to say, it reduced me to tears.
The words to it are spot on. You have encapsulated those raw feelings of grief and injustice.
It's an amazing song."
